ABOUT

Emily Dauer (she/they) is a Poet, Writer, Actor, and Artist from Newcastle, Washington. She holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she was awarded a Maytag Fellowship and a Teaching Writing Fellowship. She was the sole recipient of the Pflughaught Fellowship for excellence in poetry. She’s worked in new media spaces, writing scripted Narrative audio for Dipsea and Youtube content for Cut. Her Writing has been featured on Comcast's Watchable, DIPSEA, The Iowa Review, Bennington Review, and elsewhere. You can find traces of her on Instagram @dauerkid.
